Poynton Pottery has been running at Poynton Community Centre since 2013. The Pottery was set up by Caroline Tattersall, a Ceramic Artist who has taught ceramics in London since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2008.

Caroline’s classes are friendly, relaxed and welcoming and are suitable for both total beginners to participants who may have experience in ceramics. She sets out projects that will cover all the skills you will need to produce high quality, well finished ceramics. In addition to project work the classes enable those who have covered the basics to develop their own self directed projects in areas that may be of interest to them. We have a range of equipment including 3 pottery wheels, an extruder and a wide variety of glazes and finishes. We occasionally run one off weekend courses for more specialised processes.
